May Moments!

We did a great Springwatch this afternoon and observed over 20 signs of spring from our playground. How many can you spot? We learnt about how bees and other insects love dandelion flowers for nectar & pollen!

We then improved our javelin technique in Athletics after working very hard in Daily Mile.

We have been working hard to recall our subtraction facts quickly and looked at the links between facts. e.g. 10-7=3 so 20-7= 80-7= 240-7=

We revised using subtraction jumps and empty number lines to solve word problems. Next week we will revise written subtraction.

P3/4/5 have chosen to look at the ‘Victorians in Scotland’ as their historical topic. They would like to find out about what Drumnadrochit looked like in Victorians time, a Victorian school day and Famous Scottish Victorians.
