This term’s Sumdog competition for Highland schools starts today! Pupils can play at any time during this weekend and next week to earn points for the class. Pupils will get a short session each day in class to play and can play at home too. Have fun!
We did a great Springwatch this afternoon and observed over 20 signs of spring from our playground. How many can you spot? We learnt about how bees and other insects love dandelion flowers for nectar & pollen!
We then improved our javelin technique in Athletics after working very hard in Daily Mile.
We have been working hard to recall our subtraction facts quickly and looked at the links between facts. e.g. 10-7=3 so 20-7= 80-7= 240-7=
We revised using subtraction jumps and empty number lines to solve word problems. Next week we will revise written subtraction.
